Since COVID-19, our lives have been impacted in one way or another. Remote workers, in particular, have experienced notable shifts in both their professional and personal spheres. Working from home is a relatively new experience for a majority of workers - 57% say they rarely or never worked from home prior to the coronavirus outbreak. Studies based on samples collected in the early months of the pandemic (e.g., March and April 2020) found that being under a stay-at-home order was associated with greater health anxiety, financial worry, and loneliness (Tull et al., 2020), more symptoms of depression, anxiety, acute stress, and insomnia. WorkWell is designed to help remote workers stay focus and productive throughout their work day using pomodoro technique and reminders. WorkWell also promotes users to take care of their mental health by suggesting wellness activities.
