Inspiration
I often found it hard to decide what workout to do—especially when I was feeling tired, short on time, or had limited equipment. Most workout apps felt too generic. That’s when I thought: “What if there was a fun app that just knew what I needed today?” That simple idea became Workout Weaver — an AI-powered app that gives you a perfect workout based on your mood, time, and gear.
What it does
How to write clear and detailed prompts that describe both design and functionality in one go.
How to make an app idea come to life without coding, just by describing it well.
I also got better at thinking like a designer — paying attention to small things like animations, button styles, and smooth user experience.
How we built it
I used bolt.new, where you write a big prompt and it turns it into a real app.
I described the app's look: a dark theme, smooth animations, and fun icons.
I explained how the app should ask about your mood, time, and equipment, and then use AI to create a workout plan.
Each workout comes with a GIF demo, pulled from a GIF API using keywords from the AI.
Challenges we ran into
It was tricky to fit everything — the design, logic, and interactivity — into one big prompt.
Writing the AI logic clearly took some thought. I had to make sure it gives clean, usable results.
Balancing between making it look awesome and actually work well was also a bit challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Built a fully working AI-powered workout app with just one detailed prompt.
Created a smooth and modern design with animations, icons, and a clean UI — all from words.
Managed to combine AI, design, and real-time media (GIFs) into a fun, useful user experience.
It actually feels like a personal trainer — it adapts to your mood, time, and gear!
What we learned
How to write prompts that are specific enough to describe both visuals and functionality.
How to think like a designer and developer at the same time — all through language.
That with the right tools and clear thinking, you can build amazing things fast, even without writing code.
How to guide an AI to give structured, useful JSON data — and how to turn that into visual content
