Inspiration

My inspiration was to make a software which actually helps developers to manage and maintain there workspace and in the world of emerging startups small teams can use it where a single person manages multiple roles.

What it does

It was going to be a HR management and tracking software but i ended up making a org software for managing and assigning tasks and a recruitment software

How we built it

I used better-auth org plugin and resend for sending email and next js framework with postgreous supabase intially i tried to make it well and functional but due to my new experience with AI IDE tools and new to MCP i had broke one or two apps

Challenges we ran into

Basically most challenging part was to use AI agents the way i want that planning and execution works well but sometimes if there is an issue in past step instead of fixing it moves forward and sometimes MCP didn't worked

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am very proud of my experience that i got with this project and learning the potential of the AI IDE from steering docs to planning readme files and how MCP works

What we learned

I learned a lot about MCP servers i used Supabase , Better-auth , and few more like (fetch , brave and drizzle) and lot more about prompting and using steering docs to get the preferred result

What's next for WorkNest

I shall continue this project and will fix all of my mistakes and finish every feature and secure it
