Inspiration
What it does
A platform that lets the user know how likely their job is be replaced by AI given a certain occupation it breaks down the job into a task and gives probability of that task being replaced by AI. And if a job could be replaced by AI than for small businesses and companies there could be a breakdown of how expensive it might be to replace a worker with an AI agent.
How we built it
We built WorkLens using Python (and Copilot) for the frontend, and Gemini API and Microsoft database about AI and its capability to replace jobs.
Challenges we ran into
We tried to connect the Gemini API agents and the WorkLens and get them to work properly; we also tried to connect the Onet but that did not work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Santiago, Jeremiah and I successfully pushed three different GitHub repositories for the WorkLens application and pushed changes to the application to the repo. But we ultimately went with Jeremiah's version of the repo since it looked the best.
What we learned
I learned how to submit a GitHub repo through VS Code Copilot and Santiago learned Gemini API and backend for WorkLens.
What's next for WorkLens
Next we could implement a chart and some Gemini API descriptions of analytics for WorkLens.
