Inspiration: We were inspired by the effects the pandemic had on how we and others around work and study. We wanted to create a website that would give people organized resources and information to maximize their productivity while working from home.
What it does: Our project gives users information on how to improve their work and study habits while they are home and includes a study timer, Spotify playlists that will make studying a little bit enjoyable, and youtube videos and games to play while taking a short break
How I built it: We built the project in Atom and was able to work on it simultaneously using Teletype. We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to design and build our website.
Challenges I ran into: One challenge we ran into was formatting the website the way we wanted to. We also had some challenges implementing the study timer feature into our website. However, in the end, we managed to format every component of our website and make it look pretty, all within 24 hours!
Accomplishments: As this was our first Hackathon, we are very proud that we have been able to plan and create a project that we are proud of all within 24 hours!
