The problem Workforce solves The global freelance economy runs on broken trust. Freelancers face delayed payments, fake reviews, and high platform fees, while clients struggle with unverifiable work and invoice disputes. Current platforms act as expensive middlemen instead of enabling fair, transparent collaboration. There’s no universal, programmable system to guarantee trust between two digital workers. We’re solving this gap by building a decentralized trust and invoicing network for the freelance economy.
Challenges we ran into During development, I ran into several challenges — especially since many of the tools and blockchain concepts were completely new to me. Setting up the smart contracts, connecting Aptos, and integrating it with NestJS required a lot of trial and error. But through documentation, testing, and breaking things repeatedly, I gradually understood how the pieces fit together. It was a steep learning curve — but I learned how to build, debug, and think in a decentralized system.
