This app is made specifically for individuals to monitor and manage their work hours effectively while promoting healthy work habits.

Additionally: This app was made in the GHW.

What it does

The Work Life Tracker helps users:

  • Track work hours and breaks with a simple and interactive timer interface.
  • Access personalized productivity suggestions based on their work and break patterns.
  • View summary cards that track total work hours and breaks, offering insights into their work habits.
  • Maintain a healthy balance by helping users incorporate regular breaks and focus sessions into their routines.

How we built it

It was built using the Flutter framework, ensuring a smooth, cross-platform experience. Key features include:

State Management: The app uses a controller-based system to handle the timer and user interactions. Functionality: The app tracks work hours, pauses, and generates personalized productivity suggestions dynamically. File Organization: The app is structured with modular components, keeping it scalable and easy to maintain. We organized the code into clear sections for time tracking and suggestions.

Challenges we ran into

Personalized Suggestions: Developing an effective and easy functions for generating personalized productivity suggestions based on work and break patterns.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

What we learned

UI Design: the importance of balancing aesthetics and functionality when designing user interfaces, ensuring that each component is intuitive and contributes to the overall user experience.

What's next for Work-Life Balance Tracker

Advanced Analytics: I plan to integrate more advanced analytics to provide deeper insights into users’ work habits, such as productivity trends over time.

Notifications & Reminders: Adding push notifications to remind users when it’s time to take a break or resume work will enhance the app’s effectiveness.
