Inspiration

The fast pace life of today's generation who doesn't have time to sit-back and streamline their schedules for themselves, inspired me to do something positive and help others through such "Work Life Balance Calendar".

What it does

Work Life Balance Calendar can be used both on Desktop/Web and Mobile browsers.

Work Life Balance Calendar is visualization prototype which can be proposed to be implemented by the support of WhenHub schedule custom fields through which additional data can be easily added and saved to each event in a consistent format which would make it interactive and customized.

It would help the user to keep their life organized in personal as well as professional fields. In this planner there is description given for each day of the week. This is a generic pattern of an overview of "how to balance your personal as well as professional life" each day. The calendar consist of ideal description of day. This might alter from person to person but if most of the tips are taken care of then it would surely help to take care of your personal as well as professional life simultaneously. Work-Life Balance is a challenge for many, but with the help of this calendar one might get reminders by reading it, that which field has to be focused or what's missing, probably.

How I built it

Work Life Balance Calendar is built on Photoshop. With the help of Photoshop, I've made creative visualization images and given appropriate effects to the same.Further, the interactive prototyping platform provided by Marvel made the job of animation easier. With help of Marvel, I've used hotspots to generate right kind of transitions and animations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It being an out of box idea of making such interactive schedule, hence there were difficulties in conceptualizing the whole presentation which can turn out to be useful to maximum users. But with the help of Marvel and Photoshop, the task became easier. This is my first project, but there are other accomplishments in other fields of my life, which I am truly proud of!

What I learned

Nothing is simple and easy...but if done with creativity it surely is beautiful. Just like life, adding creative thoughts to live your personal and professional life creatively can make your problems- simpler, a day-better and life- happier. Thanks to Marvel and WhenHub for making the task of presenting such visualization, much easier.

We must give enough time and thought for presenting good & interactive visualizations! I learnt that creativity is just not thinking out of box but also making it presentable which is acceptable by others. Creativity is a factor which everybody posses but should be used at right time in right way to benefit self and others.
