Inspiration

I'm an aspiring Scrabble player needed to learn more words to get into a competition. Though there are existing solutions to help remembering the words, the way those apps work do not suit my learning style. I've been wanting these kind of apps for years, and this Hackathon is a good opportunity to create it, and it magically works!

What it does

It's simply an app that show you the scrambled words and let you type in the correct spelling. This has proved to work for me using manual work. It divides this into different sections and lets you improve by comparing the statistics of them as well

How we built it

I wrote the prompt myself without AI help and go with whatever results it have, trusting Bolt's ability to create as best experience as it could.

Challenges we ran into

I'm aiming to create the most legible one-shot. Therefore, I spent quite some time to craft the prompt, and it works first time with critical features. Though some of the remaining features aren't quite there, I think it would be good to continue developing on my own.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Beautiful UI in one-shot is awesome!

What we learned

That building my dream app is so easy these days with AI.

What's next for WordWiz

I might continue to expand features such as Challenges, Games, Reminders, and the way to correct incorrectly memorized words. It could also be expand outside of Scrabble word to create a generic memorization app!
