Inspiration

This game was inspired by my childhood summers spent playing word search at the beach.

What it does

It’s a daily word search game where players must find the missing words to solve a famous quote. A new puzzle is available to discover every day.

How we built it

I developed the full game in Svelte and then ported the quote game mode to work with Devvit.

Challenges we ran into

Since the game was developed in Svelte, and there's no official Devvit template for it, I faced a hurdle. Fortunately, after asking on the Devvit subreddit, I discovered that another developer had already created a solution.

Having it working in less than a working day

What we learned

Tu use devvit. Before the hackathon I wasnt aware of it. This opens so a lot of possibilities
