Wordoku

Inspiration

Wordoku is a Sudoku + Wordle like puzzle game that uses letters instead of numbers. The objective is to fill a 5x5 grid with letters so that each column, each row contain a valid word. The goal is not to fill every cell but to include some specific letters in order to score high. a letter from the given set to fill it in.

What it does

Wordoku test your vocabulary and at the same time your strategy on filling the right letter at the right place. Wordoku is that app that makes you scratch minds.

How we built it

The app is built using Devvit Blocks and Webview. The app also uses Tailwind CSS for styling.

What we learned

This was my first time working with Reddit Development, I enjoyed a lot. Completing this project in time is truely an accomplishment I am proud of. I learned a lot about Devvit, the layout, state management, communication between devvit and webview.

What's next for Wordoku

I am planning to also include a Level System where users can also play 6x6 grid or more.
