Wordie

Inspiration

The Biggest inspiration is obviously wordle. Wordle is a word guessing game on the New York Times. I just started learning to use react and I thought that wordle would be a pretty easy beginner project.

What it does

You can play wordie in your browser. The answer word is based on the current date so you can get a new puzzle everyday.

What I learned

I learned more about how to use react. I’m proud that I was able to make this project without using a tutorial even if I didn’t do it in the best or more efficient way. I also learned how useful GitHub copilot is.

What's next for Wordie

I still want to try adding the colored keyboard at the bottom of the game showing which letters are correct and which letters still haven’t been used. I also want to make it so that you can choose the word length for the game.
