About the Project

This project was inspired by my passion for building games and Reddit’s unique ability to let developers publish and showcase interactive experiences directly to its audience. The idea of reaching Reddit users through a game motivated me to explore this platform and create something engaging for the community.

What I Learned

This was my first time developing a game specifically for Reddit, and it became a valuable learning experience. I gained hands-on knowledge of Devvit and the Reddit API, and learned how Reddit’s ecosystem works for interactive applications.

How I Built the Project

I built the game using Devvit and integrated Reddit’s APIs to ensure it worked smoothly within the Reddit environment. I closely followed the official documentation and experimented with different features to understand how game logic and user interactions function on Reddit.

Challenges Faced

Since this was my first Reddit-based game, I faced several challenges, including understanding the platform’s limitations and debugging unexpected issues. I overcame these challenges by thoroughly reading the documentation and actively seeking help from the developer community on Discord, which helped me resolve issues efficiently and improve the final product
