Word Puzzel

Inspiration

I wanted to bring a classic word-search experience into Snapchat in a way that feels quick, fun, and interactive. Word games are familiar to everyone, and Snapchat lenses are perfect for short, engaging gameplay.

What it does

Word Puzzel is a word search game where players find hidden words inside a letter grid. With 1000+ levels, the game offers endless challenges in quick sessions.

How we built it

The game was built in Snapchat Lens Studio using java scripts to create a grid-based letter system, handle user input, validate words, and manage level progression.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge was building and managing unique word data set for 1000+ levels, collecting suitable words, sorting them, refining them to fit the grid, and ensuring balanced progression without repetition.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

1. A fully playable word game inside a Snapchat Lens
2. A scalable system with 1000+ levels
3. Simple gameplay that remains challenging

What we learned

We learned how to design efficient grid logic, optimize performance in Lens Studio, and create engaging gameplay for short, casual play sessions.

What's next for Word Puzzel

Future updates may include timed modes, daily challenges, new themes, leader board (both global and friendly leader board), and competitive features to make the game even more engaging.
