Inspiration

World Color Match was created to make geography more visual, varied, and fun.

What it does

Players solve five types of geography puzzles, including flags, country outlines, borders, foods, plants, and visual clues. The game runs directly inside a Reddit post.

How I built it

I built the game with Phaser, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Devvit Web. The puzzle system is data-driven, so new questions, countries, and languages can be added easily.

Challenges and learning

The main challenges were adapting the game to Reddit, optimizing assets, supporting different screen sizes, and keeping all puzzle types simple to understand.

I learned a lot about Devvit Web, Phaser integration, deployment, and designing games for an embedded social platform.
