Inspiration

There are a lot of graphics programs out there. What if there was another, with absolutely no distinguishing quality? What if it was written in Rust for no particular reason other than that I wanted to learn it?

What it does

It displays an image of what I imagine Bob Ross's face would be if he had to see my beautiful rendition of Portrait of Sally, made with https://jspaint.app/. There is also a color picker, and you can randomize the color. The color is just for vibes :)

How I built it

Language: Rust GUI: egui, eframe Editor: VS Code

Challenges we ran into

I had zero experience in Rust. I still have effectively zero.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

My goal coming into this hackathon was to have fun. I have done that.

What I learned

I learned a little bit of Rust :)

What's next for woooopaint

Hopefully, I will actually make it a graphics program.
