Inspiration

Supporting dog owners who go through the trauma of losing their pet. Helping them in this difficult time and giving them hope that they will reunite with their dog.

What it does

Woof-it helps reconnect dog owners with lost dogs via a community of users that can report a dog as being found.

How we built it

We use Spring-Boot in Java to serve as our API server, Flutter then accepted this data and would display it in browser.

Challenges we ran into

Technological issues scanning RFID tags which made project completion impossible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Great coordination and teamwork that resulted in solid ideas that can be incorporated in future projects.

What we learned

Proper research and team management is essential, due to our relative inexperience in this field we lost more time than we could afford. Better communication is a priority for future projects.
