Inspiration

My Dad uses an Android Phone and he always came up with the difficulty where the notepad app used to take alot of space and that has to be removed again and again to clear out memory. This gave me an idea to build Wondernotes. That is a memory specific app that creates genuine notes without getting heavier on your Phone's memory status.

What it does

Most of the Android Apps store notes in .txt formats in which an empty file takes space in MBs. BUT... Wondernotes stores a single note only in some KBs. That is its Power...

How we built it

We Built it using Android Studio and Sqlite to store the data as a database. The user interface is Designed using XMLs which make it look good along with its unique workings.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into Challenges like we were unable to figure out how to store the data into phone and transfer it from one activity to another. and we weren't able to find out how to restore the old notes created when the app is closed once. But at last we were successfully able to solve most of the challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We achieved first of all the most precious thing that is Knowledge. And other things is such a project which we never thought that we would be able to complete it successfully.

What we learned

We learned Working efficiently on Android Studio, Sharpened our skills on JAVA and learnt to configure database in an android App.

What's next for WonderNotes

Wondernotes still needs some upgrades on which we will be working on from now onwards andwe will be looking forward to make it the best Notepad Android App available on the Playstore.
