Photorealistic 3D tiles using pre-release Google Geospatial Creator in Adobe Aero
I've had this idea for a photorealistic 3D tiles light festival experience that's inspired by different cultures and countries, like Deepavali, the Mooncake Lantern Festival, Christmas, and the Thadingyut Festival. I want to create something that people can enjoy year-round, even when it's not festival season. I'm going to use light decorations and fantasy environments to create a captivating and enchanting atmosphere.
I'm using 3Ds Max and Substance Painter to create the 3D elements, and I'm using Adobe Aero photorealistic 3D tiles with pre-release Google Geospatial Creator to anchor the experience in front of the shopping mall near my place.
The challenge I have faced for this project is choosing a location to anchor the experience. I tried to anchor it in the park near my area, where there are many trees and no distinct buildings or landmarks around. However, the result was not stable. It either could not detect the area well or jumped around.
After testing several other areas, I successfully found a stable location in front of the shopping center across from the train station.I'm really excited about this project, and I can't wait to share it with the world!
