Inspiration
The enchanting world of "Alice in Wonderland" sparked our imagination, leading to the creation of "Wonder Jump." We wanted to bring a piece of wonder to everyday life, turning mundane moments into opportunities for joy through augmented reality (AR).
What it does
"Wonder Jump" is an AR game where players guide a rabbit through a series of platforms using just their nose movements. It's an accessible, fun experience that leverages the power of AR to create engaging gameplay directly on social media platforms.
How we built it
We crafted "Wonder Jump" using Meta Spark Studio, focusing on its robust AR capabilities. The game uses the platform's facial tracking technology to detect the player's nose movement, which dictates the rabbit's jumping on the screen.
Challenges we ran into
Adapting the game mechanics to the nuances of facial tracking was challenging. We strived to create an experience that was responsive and intuitive while being entertaining. Ensuring the game was accessible and performed consistently across various devices was another hurdle we overcame.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of creating an AR game that is not only fun and engaging but also integrates seamlessly with social media. The fact that "Wonder Jump" can be played without any additional downloads or equipment is a testament to its accessibility and ease of use.
What we learned
This project deepened our understanding of AR technology and its potential to create immersive experiences. We've honed our skills in facial tracking, AR game design, and developing for social media platforms.
What's next for Wonder Jump?
The future of "Wonder Jump" includes adding more elements, such as game environment that expands the game to include more characters and stories from the Wonderland universe.
