Inspiration

For some species, time on planet Earth is running out. Human beings are the greatest threat to the survival of endangered species with poaching, habitat destruction, and the effects of climate change causing a lot of the problems. Read on to learn about some of the beautiful creatures most in need of our help, protection, and conservation. So we want everyone to be aware of them. /help to see the commands available.

What it does

We made a telegram bot that generates endangered animal lists with a youtube video. This bot has 4 commands and it will let the user learn about the endangered animal, find pet shops near the user using google maps, learn what they can do the save animals, and an about me section.

How we built it

We build the landing page using next js, GitHub, and vercel to host the website. For the bot, we used Python. Implementing the generating tool, we used the NLP model available to use to get those results. We also used a technique in NLP called prompt enginerring.

Challenges we ran into

We had a problem integrating Google maps API into our project for the landing page for the user to explore some natural attraction places.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy we made something that can be used to educate people and at the same time help save animals in a very short time. We are also happy to be friends as we met for the first time in this hackathon.

What we learned

We learning a lot about telegram bots, API endpoints, google maps API, and Next js. We also learned a lot about endangered animals more than ever.

What's next for Wonder

We would like to implement many features to it and make it the go-to place if people want anything to do with endangered animals. As you saw we have login and registration pages but they are not currently used for any purposes, so we want to associate them with user-personalized feeds. E.g endangered animals only near to that person.
