Inspiration
Women face a lot of problems everyday like harassment, discrimination, body Shaming etc. Many a times they feel shy or scared to share their problems with others. Women need a community where they can anonymously share their problems and get advised by other women worldwide and grow together. Every women must help each other for the empowerment of the whole women community.
What it does
WoMentr is a virtual anonymous app. Women can post their problems, doubts, and ideas. To every question asked, other women users from across the globe can comment, answer, upvote or downvote. The novelty of the app is that no abusive words/images can be uploaded. Also the identity of the user is never revealed to anyone so women can freely discuss their problems without the fear being judged . WoMentr is the first of it's kind app since there is no other app in the market that serves as a single platforms for women to solve all their problems and insecurities.
How we built it
WoMentr is built on flutter . The UI was designed using Adobe. Tensorflow and teachable machine was used to check if only valid images were uploaded. We have used Firebase as our database. Github was used as the version control system.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our App runs perfectly fine with all the features we have mentioned above.
What's next for Womentr
We plan to add a translate feature so every women across the globe can easily use the app in their native language.
