Inspiration

I was inspired to make this website because there are many women out there who don't know how to enter the workforce again after taking a gap and struggle to find a job because of this. Not to mention many young girls don't know how to achieve their dream jobs because of lack of resources. That's where we come in, WomenStanWomen can help women find jobs based on their needs, while inspiring younger girls to follow their dream jobs.

What it does

WomenStanWomen is a multipurpose website which is what makes it perfect for women of all ages. For women looking for jobs it gives them access to the highest paying jobs available to them and the best internships possible for the younger generations. Also on the way introducing them to many inspiring women on the way through our newsletter and speaker and our mentor program.

How we built it

I built the website with google sites and the "application forms" with google forms. I used a little HTML for the search bar.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges was making this website User friendly, a website all women of all ages could use was the goal, so I really tried to simple it down to make as user friendly as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I was able make this website in 2 days, especially when it serves such a important purpose of bringing women of all ages together.

What we learned

I think the most important lesson from this whole project is how much of a difference bringing women of all ages together will make such a huge impact on our modern society and I think it can really change the statistics of successful women.

What's next for WomenStanWomen

I think this website should become a real website because it can bring together women of all ages, to find a common ground to grow from each other.
