Inspiration
Our team was inspired by upcoming Women's History Month and the strong women we met at AthenaHacks.
What it does
Through our use of text, video, and images on our interactive website, we hope to educate and inspire everyone about the upcoming Women's History Month. There is even a Google Calendar Reminder so that people will not forget and ways for people to support women during the month.
How we built it
We used html, css, javascript, api requests, and bootstrap.
Challenges we ran into
Due to our time limit we were unable to delve into the world of backend and collect data for our contact page. However, we were able to get around this by using an email submission method.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the variety of elements we implemented including an interactive quiz and Google Calendar.
What we learned
We learned more about front-end including how to implement interactive elements and more about Women's History Month which was inspiring seeing that we were creating this project at AthenaHacks.
What's next for Women's History Month
In the future, our team hopes to implement a back-end for our contact page and extend our database to women in other categories other than technology.
