WOMEN IN STEM is a website providing girls with resources to explore STEM. We believe this is a serious issue since we observed from personal experience that there aren’t many resources for girls to explore STEM. What makes us different? We are focused on girls in secondary school. Here, we connect girls to others in STEM and educate them about the gender gap through the internet. Finally, we share our STEM related stories and works and update our newsletter weekly to encourage girls to pursue STEM. Our inspiration came from the theme of this hackathon: the inclusion for all genders in STEM and the improvement of the gender gap.

This website addresses the gender gap apparent in STEM and focuses on spreading awareness and providing resources to help solve that issue.
