Inspiration

The inspiration for this project would have to be the dilemmas and situations women face in the workplace or in their daily lives. We were inspired by the countless stories and news we hear about this, so it inspired us to create this website.

What it does

This website is a interactive-informative website. It informs the users about the dilemmas not only women face but the lack of inclusion there is in our daily lives and in the workplace. The website also gives solutions that we and you can do to help fight and solve the problem.

How we built it

We built this project using the coding website, replit. We used the coding languages html, css, and javascript.

Challenges we ran into

As beginners, we ran into tons of challenges. Sometimes it would be mislinked pages or a typo in the code we had no idea about. Also making the cards for the solutions were a challenge as well! Yet, we pushed through it and we were able to repair and fix those problems.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are definitely proud of everything. From the sparkling gifs Meghana created to the amazing card sets Ritika created, and the beautiful aesthetic and format of the website. Not to mention the beautiful main logo Zaory designed!

What we learned

We learned more about coding in html and css a lot, especially for beginners. Also we learned a bit about javascript that we never learned about before.

What's next for Women Empowerment

The next step for us is hopefully to win this competition of course but also for people to understand what's really going on with women and the problems we face. Something next as well is improving the website. Adding more of an interactive platform or a user interface system
