Inspiration

History often overlooks the quiet pioneers—especially women—who shaped the future behind the scenes. While Alan Turing is widely recognized, thousands of women like Joan Clarke, Dot Braden, and Elizebeth Friedman played equally critical roles in breaking Axis codes during WWII. Their efforts not only shortened the war but also laid the groundwork for modern computing and cryptography. We built this project to honor their legacy and make their stories accessible to all.
