Inspiration
Our team decided to develop an IOS app to cover the healthcare statement for the hackathon. We were interested in this track because we all once were teenage girls in high school building the person we want to be. The app integrates aspects women can struggle with by organizing their goals and helping them become their best selves. It implements a solution for body and mental healthcare while sharing useful resources and media and providing a chat feature for friends and mentors specialized in various health fields.
How we built it
We developed our idea and listed our stakeholders first, then we assembled our MVP to outline our app, later we designed the prototype and tested it with teenage girls we know, and finally, we programmed the preliminary structure of the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of generating a new idea that can work like a startup and being able to help the future generation of women.
What we learned
As a group, we were able to get in touch with understanding how designing UX/UI works by building a detailed MVP implementing a preliminary prototype and testing it with our stakeholders.
What's next for WoMe
Since we focused more on the UX/UI of the app, we will next work on implementing it into a real app and the necessary algorithms to keep track of the goals.
