Inspiration
Wanted to make a VR and Socket.io collaboration
What it does
One person fires an object while the other person has to destroy it coming at them in VR (Google Cardboard)
How I built it
I made some models in Maya, put it all together in both an Unity and WebGL version. Then I built the node.js server to handle all the socket emits
Challenges I ran into
Getting it to look nice in WebGL and getting socket.io to not be so laggy
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I built a fully two way communication application with someone in and out of VR
What I learned
What's next for WolframVR
Change the name, I never ended using the Wolfram API
