Inspiration

There are too many problems in this world and we, individually, can help solve some of them, but not all of them. By entering the new era of the world, we have accessed new knowledge that people from before wouldn't even have thought of. With the help of technology, we can assist in solving even more problems. As a group of computer scientists, we believe that we can help contribute to the society by using our own knowledge and imagination as the inspiration.

What it does

The app collects a group of people who want to reduce the pollution in the society but having a hard time finding other mutual people who also want to do the same thing.

The app has 4 main functions :

• Login function
• Request function
• Chat Box function
• Settings function

The app has a voting system function to vote for individuals who are excel in the field of environment for selecting and evaluating a specific place that has been submitted through the request function by the users. The status of the submission will be notified by the app to the user in the successful request, pending request or rejected request (sub-functions of request) that the place they submit has been evaluated.

The chat box function allows people to communicate with each other and improve the activeness of the app more higher.

The donation function ( a sub-function of settings) will allow users to donate to specific NPO that the app provides.

The volunteering function ( a sub-function of settings) will allow users to find out more about the place that has been selected for the event and decide whether they can / want to join the event on the date and time that the admins ( the people who got voted) assigned.

How we built it

We use figma ( a prototyping tool web-based ) to pitch the app. The prototype is 90% fully functioning ( requires actual components such as programming language, HTML, Databases...) with every function working as it is supposed to be in the post-production.

Challenges we ran into

As freshmen, The problem we ran into was not knowing the technical side of the actual product rather than the prototype, so we have to build everything from scratch and doing a bit more research on the technical sides that the app is going to require.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the prototype because it was a group effort rather than individually and in the future we believe that everything that we want to build / make will be possible if we do it as a group because each person is a piece of the puzzle.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the process of making the prototype but in fact, the technical side of this project wasn't the only thing that we learned. The mentality of the project was actually the importance of the project, we learned that group effort will help us bring the best out of our idea.
