What it does

Try on the Sorting Hat

• You can take part in the officIal Hogwarts Sorting Ceremony. See yourself wearing the Sorting Hat, then hold your breath as your Hogwarts house is revealed. As well as learning your house colours, you can discover your Patronus, too.

Discover an ever-expanding magical universe

• The website is full to bursting with exclusive content and experiences. Put your knowledge to the test with new quizzes, go behind-the-scenes with fresh features and videos, try your hand at curious crafts, and uncover extra special surprises hidden in the Muggle world. You’ll also discover new interactive, enchanted puzzles and brainteasers, including word searches and crosswords.

Unlock hidden magic

• Use the Maruder's map for your mischief. Visit the ministry of magic. Practice spells and go on quests. All this and a lot more!

How we built it

• We decided to go classic and use plain old HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery to build the application.

Challenges we ran into

• Since all the members were working on separate parts of the website, it was a challenge to bring everything together, manage dependency clashes, etc.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• We have a working project within the specified time frame
• The UI is exactly how we expected it to be
