My inspiration was a desire to reimagine Rock, Paper, Scissors and inject a fresh dose of fun and excitement into the game. The classic game needed a new spin, and that's where the magical world of Wizards, Giants, and Elves was born. Players choose between the mystical characters and engage in epic battles, each with its unique outcome. I built this using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The game incorporates responsive design, animated icons, and carefully crafted logic to ensure an engaging experience for the user. One notable challenge occurred when implementing the animated icons. The goal of a smooth transition and timing required meticulous adjustment in the code. A specific challenge was posed with the icon opacity. The initial opacity was set to 0 to make the icon invisible. However, during the game, when I wanted to animate the icon by changing it to 1, there was a need to ensure that the transition was smooth. The solution involved incorporating animation timing and the transition from 0 to 1 was implemented. I am proud of the cute icons in the game. The visual appeal of the cute icons popping up when they have defeated you added a cute and funny element to the game. It was not easy, but it was worth it! I learned how to manipulate and control the opacity of elements using Javascript and how to add transitions to my code. The journey doesn't end here though! My vision for Wizards, Elves, and Giants involves expanding into new genres. Imagine the thrill of a horror-themed game or a comedy edition. The possibilities are endless!
