Inspiration- Being at Wipro, gives us a responsibility to not only be a responsible employee but also a responsible human. our chairman, himself commits 34% of company shares for philanthropy. So to walk in his footsteps we immediately got attracted towards the problem statement and dig deep on how we can bring some answers to this alarming situation. so we researched and got to know that According to women, the main barrier for using early diagnostic services for breast cancer was lack of awareness about symptoms and availability of tests, and therefore, the possibility of early diagnosis. Poor awareness lowers the possibility of early diagnosis despite availability of screening tests. also, The majority of deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries, where most women with breast cancer are diagnosed in late stages due mainly to lack of awareness on early detection and barriers to health services and hence something needs to be done to solve this problem.

What it does- As we celebrate the pink month with our girlfriends usually sipping on our cosmopolitans – we as women tend to forget the crucial message behind the campaign: to raise awareness of breast cancer and its symptoms. While the word carries the emotional weight of fear, sorrow, and pain, there is a need for awareness generation initiatives to educate women with the propagation of correct messages and advantages of an early diagnosis. We at WITHYOU aim to encourage women of all ages to break barriers and know their body, and this can be done only if the taboo attached with self-examination is broken. Targeting women of mid and high-income bracket who may find themselves at washrooms in public places, our mirrors with markings highlight areas and motion to be used while breast self-examining. These mirrors can be placed in areas where women halt for a few seconds - maybe near a hand dryer or behind doors of the lavatory. Enabling an environment where women feel comfortable ,For our less privileged friends, we propose to reach out to them through health check-up camps being put up by Mobile Medical Vans. These vans will travel to various villages, encouraging women of all ages to seek medical advise and counselling. The idea is to enable the health workers on ground by equipping them with apps and infrastructure to examine, Connecting of all these, we propose our Mobile App WITHYOU - with features to self examine, read breast cancer survivor stories, set reminders to self check, to know more about breast cancer, talk to therapists and peers, consult specialists, amongst others. so we focused on these target and decided to create an app WITH YOU- your one stop solution for breast cancer, you can set reminders, learn self detection, connect with other people who are going through the same things, make an appointment etc.

How I built it - we built it using node.js, mobile app using Java.

Challenges I ran into- during these challenging time, we were unable to meet and discuss and everything had to be done on video calls, the main challenge was to coordinate our timings with our different schedules and be on the same page, but after a few days we were able to overcome this barrier and completed our tasks on time. I was glad to be a part of such understanding and beautiful team

Accomplishments that I'm proud of- we were able to deliver our idea in a very short span of time, being so far and unable to meet because of covid, we still managed to work together and better. everyone worked late nights and we executed what we wanted to say.

What I learned- The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.

What's next for withyou- We plan to launch this app soon in India first, we hope to reach a million of users by 2 years, and then around the world.
