Empowoment
Women in sports do not often gain as much recognition or fame that the men do, and there's also often an under-representation of them in the sports industry as well. There are many reasons for this: women aren't often encouraged to play sports when they're younger, leading to a lower representation of them in the professional field. People are also generally not as interested in watching games for women's sports when compared to men's sports; the NFL's Super Bowl is an annual football match between two men's teams that Americans have always consistently looked forward to and celebrated. Super Bowl Sunday can be almost considered an American holiday. However, women's sports do not enjoy the same recognition, which is why we envisioned a platform where all female athletes and all sports fans can come together and celebrate sports together.
Empowoment promotes female athletes by giving them a presence on the platform and allowing them to interact with fans on their personal pages and vice versa. Fans are also able to interact with each other on the integrated forum. Fans can also support their favorite team by donating to them. Empowoment also promotes teams by making their merchandise stores and tickets to games easily accessible.
All in all, Empowoment works to empower women in sports by giving them recognition and interactivity with fans, building a path to a brighter future for the industry.
