Inspiration

Many times when open the slack app, unread messages are overwhelming. So saving time for reading while don't miss any important messages is important.

What it does

Highlight key words for each message

How I built it

It a web application built on Flask, super light weight. The data and intelligent algorithms depend on slack API and incido API. The slack API feeds conversation data to the application and incido API process them using NLP technologies .

Challenges I ran into

Since I am more familiar with backend, so I spent some time figuring out how to highlight words using css.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I finished the project alone. My teammate went home last night. :(

What I learned

I learnt flask and picked up python. Also, gained more in practice experience in front-end.

What's next for Wislack

Add more features! Use Oauth to allow user login using their own account.
