We have worked on improving the UI of the website and also worked on the flutter ui and its integration with google cloud

Tourism is bound to increase as vaccination rates are increasing. Solution proposed should serve various sectors such as entertainment, tourism, outings, adventures and so on. It should not just provide a place to record their wishes but also a platform to manage and work out their savings. Also, proposed solution should not just work in the times of Covid but post Covid-19 era as well.
What it does
One can easily save their cravings in a wishlist using their email, phone number or any social media account. People can explore through multiple treats and rejuvenating activities they might be interested in participating in. People can click a picture and our app will use Google's product vision API to suggest you similar products. Based on the categories of your interest, we also recommend you youtube videos. One can manage their savings for self-treats via a simple dashboard. While making a wish, a person can see when they want to accomplish it and how they can save for it.
How we built it
Used Google API to fetch details of YouTube videos. App fetches Covid-19 data and displays the risk level. Implemented Google Vision API Product search Website made using HTML and CSS and hosted on GitHub pages.
Challenges we ran into
We were new to Dart and Flutter which took a little bit of extra efforts. Having different skill sets, we made the solution in a modular manner. The product search was implemented in a web based system. Youtube recommendations using python and the final app was made in flutter. Virtual communication and brainstorming was the major challenge at some point of time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
With a vivid amateur skill set, we were able to make a full fledged app which can cater the needs of numerous people.
What we learned
Team management, new technologies like dart, certainly improved our debugging. The best thing we gained was problem solving experience definitely!
What's next for Wishlist
With next versions of wishlist, we aim to integrate full fledged piggybank (wallet) using TSYS API. This can be used by people of various age groups ranging from teenagers saving their pocket money to people in their mid age (>40). This will help people to choose wisely about their spending.
