Inspiration

We were inspired by upcoming Christmas holidays and. We did a quick market research and figured out there are no working telegram bots, which allow to create such lists fast and easily. In comparison to Wish List Websites, Telegram bots are more user-friendly and accessible via smartphone, which is an integral part of everyday life of each person nowadays. Moreover, this application may be a humble contribution to a conscious consumption agenda worldwide. This app supports shopping sustainably, with the intent to preserve the environment, is one way to consume more consciously.

What it does

Creates a wish list with such variables as Name, Photo, Description, Price
Allows Givers to see a friend's list and reserve/book an item

How we built it

We use a telegram-bot library and telegram-bot API to interconnect sql data base for a persistent storage

Challenges we ran into

How to store a picture at a local service and make a bot to get it back when calling

Wishes creating, booking and search functions implemented

What's next for Wishlist

-Creating private wish lists for a certain group of people. -Editing -Notifications to Givers N days before the holiday -Confirmation of a gifted item, which deletes it from the list
