WishBot

Inspiration

We thought a friendly, personal saving assistant is a good way to engage children and teenagers in a judgement-free environment (since no other person is involved).

What it does

It acts as a friendly digital companion

How we built it

We used html/CSS/js frontend, with python/flask backend and used OpenAI's API for making the chatbot.

Challenges we ran into

Choosing a front-end framework (we ended up opting for none!) Integrating the language model's outputs into other parts of the app

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finding a robust way to make the language model outputs compatible with the other parts of the app.

We'd like to make this a full-featured application and host it online.
