Inspiration

We wanted to be able to save our co-op money before we accidentally spent it all on shopping and buying Valorant bundles.

What it does

It allows you to track your expenses and if you try to make an online purchase that will put you over your set budget

How we built it

We built it using the chrome extension API, React, Typescript, and the Chrome Storage API.

Challenges we ran into

We initially ran into many challenges with setting up our chrome extension, getting our content script to run with our React project, and working with the Chrome Storage API because it was our first time doing all of these things.

Add income features and customizable categories and visualizations of different budget-related metrics. Make a more fun evil mode for when the extension tries to stop you from buying something online.
