Inspiration:
The AVE classic productivity app which in Japanese so not everyone can understand it. It also dose not really keep you accountable. We also wanted the app to be more personalized to its user so they can enjoy being productive. Realizing the more productive people are the more we learn which leads to new innovations in the world.
What it does
The goal of WiseUp is to give the individuals a more meaningful productivity experience rather than just hours studied or hours productive. Our goal was to allow the user to think about how they feel before going into the productivity session and then how they feel after their productivity session. They would also be able to see Reflection Summary Cards that show them their reflections for each productivity session. To begin the productivity session the user fills out a survey to answer questions that allows them to go into their session with intent. While the user is in a productivity session, they will also receive little inspirational notifications every 30 minutes to encourage them during their productivity session.
How we built it:
Html, java script, React and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
Originally we wanted to create a Discord Bot version of this but decided to shift gears a little late in the game, so we had to make up the time lost there.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Building and putting together the React Web App. It was our first time putting a web app together with the styling and javascript from the bottom up.
What we learned
Integrating components together in react using js, css, and html. Using git with a team.
