Inspiration

As avid thinkers of philosophy and theology, our team was motivated to create a unique and entertaining way for people to gain insight and self-improvement.

What it does

Wise is a software that uses artificial intelligence to answer questions based on a book of your choice. Simply provide a question, and the software will use NLP techniques such as bag-of-words to find the most relevant phrase from the book.

How we built it

We built the frontend using ReactJS and the backend using Python, with the core algorithm using NLP techniques like bag-of-words to analyze the similarity between multiple sentences in multiple books

Challenges we overcame

Obtaining ancient texts with a clean dataset was a challenge, but we were able to overcome it and fine-tune the matching algorithm to deliver accurate results.

Proud accomplishments

With a visually appealing frontend and a fast and efficient algorithm, Wise provides users with quick and meaningful answers to their questions.

Lessons learned

We gained experience in designing attractive frontends and marketing niche products to specific groups, such as those following a particular religious doctrine using a personal book.

What's next for Wise

In the future, we plan to allow users to upload their own texts and generate answers from those sources, making it possible to find answers in textbooks or other sources by asking questions with synonyms.
