Inspiration

Startify was inspired by the inefficiencies in the traditional fundraising process. Startups struggle to find the right investors, often spending months pitching to those who may not be interested. On the other hand, investors waste time evaluating startups that don't align with their interests. We saw an opportunity to streamline this process by creating a platform that intelligently matches startups with the right investors while handling due diligence validation.

What It Does

Startify connects startups with industry-specific investors, eliminating the need for time-consuming pitch meetings. The platform uses an AI-powered matching system to pair startups with investors based on industry, funding stage, and interest areas. Additionally, Startify conducts due diligence, significantly reducing the time investors spend on validation, which typically takes weeks.

How We Built It

We developed Startify using modern web technologies and a data-driven approach:

• Backend: Built with django to handle user authentication, matchmaking, and due diligence automation.
  
• Frontend: Developed using HTML, CSS and Javascript to provide an intuitive and seamless user experience.
  
• Database: Implemented with SQLite to store and manage startup and investor profiles efficiently.
