Inspiration

While think of the idea for this Hackathon I was overwhelmed with all the different ideas I had and I felt like I needed something to choose my idea in a smart more educated way. So that is when the idea of the Wise Dice came in, it was a tool that could help people in my position by giving a calculated decision to the user.

What it does

Wise Dice is a decision making tool that helps users break down difficult choices by combining structured inputs with chance based prompts. It turns indecision into a clear, interactive process that helps users move forward with confidence.

How we built it

Wise Dice was built as a web application using Lovable for the core structure and logic, with ChatGPT assisting in refining features, flows, and decision mechanics

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was making the tool feel helpful rather than random. We focused on balancing guidance and flexibility so users felt supported without being told what to choose.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a simple yet thoughtful tool that transforms indecision into action while remaining easy to use and engaging.

What we learned

We learned how important clarity and simplicity are when designing tools meant to support real decisions, especially when users are under pressure or uncertainty.

What's next for Wise Dice

Next, we want to expand Wise Dice with goal tracking, saved decision histories, and additional frameworks to support more complex choices over time.
