To build a supportive community for women and underrepresented people in STEM. Connecting generations through mentorship, collaboration, and shared experiences. Ultimately, driving meaningful changes towards the gender gap in STEM.
What it does
Our solution, WISdom, short for the Women In STEM kingdom, is a platform where women are able to seek help or support others. We target young women and gender diverse individuals in their teenage years as we believe those are the crucial years for career decisions.
What's next for WISdom
Funding/marketing: To fund our platform, we’ll be reaching out to companies and universities for advertisements on our homepage in exchange for funding to keep the website up.
Future expansion / Timeline: Improving user interactive experience Ensuring safety of user information
