Inspiration
I Remember one time, we called a new electrician to install a new outlet to our in our in our wall and it took him 45 min just to confirm where the closest point to make a connection for the new outlet whould , so i thought why dont we have a map, for it, and that lead me to creating WireSIght with which we can see where eachwire is and wire it goes.
What it does
At the time of installation the electrician incharge , maps the entire house as he is wiring it, and when someone in future needs to know where the wiring is they can just wear the glasses and see it in reality where they are.
How we built it
This works by first creating a rough 3d model of your house and mapping the wires to that model so they can stay in place, even after you change glasses , they keep the record, by dividing the house into rooms, and only display the wires that you want so you dont get a headache
Challenges we ran into
Keeping the wires perminant in the world was the hardest, but we made that work/
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The thing i am most proud of is the fact it just works, i can give it to an electrician today and tell them how it works , and they will be able to use it in their work
What we learned
This was my First time creating an AR project and i learned how it works and the design policy of making AR apps.
