Inspiration
The inspiration for this project was marine life and how they communicate under water. People at iCreate also inspired us to solve the water leakage problem.
What it does
It uses IoT, and AI to detect the leakage down to 100-200 meter accuracy.
How we built it
We built an acoustic/vibration sensor using pizo-electric material and acquired data through vibration/acoustic sensor using DSP processor and transmitting through the communication module and gathering the data into the gateway.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges like lack of proper leakage report data available.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Made a durable design and smart modules for detection of water leakage.
What we learned
We learnt about sound waves and their transmission underwater. We learnt about electrical communication devices. We learnt about the water leakage issue and what are the solutions regarding that.
What's next for Wireless acoustic water leakage detector
We going to study more about acoustic transmissions and their applications.
