Problem:

We live in a time that has been shaken to the core by the COVID-19 pandemic. Students and educators alike were forced to adapt seemingly overnight to new “normals”, from in person learning to fully remote, thus increasing the percentage of teachers thinking of leaving their teaching positions. Educators have been tasked with getting their students caught up in a short period of time. Most educators turn to websites, but online programs are catered to the students, with only a handful aimed at educators themselves, leaving 77% of educators working more than they did in the past year.

Solution

As humans, we want the best for the future generations, luckily educators are people who want a hands-on role in shaping the next generation. They are passionate about students, and that their students are receiving the best education they can before being handed off into the real world. WiredLearning is a B2B subscription website that offers accurate data to educators, while students are entertained, achieved by using unique learning aids and games. All of this is kept safe behind a personalized login and all results are analyzed and formatted for review by the educators themselves.

Market size:

The TAM is 85 Million, which is the amount of educators worldwide. We believe that a 14.1% penetration is possible, yielding an annual SOM of 52,000. This penetration is based on educators under the age of 40.

Competition

Key competitors include, ABCMouse, Khan Academy, Achieve3000, and Edutopia. All of the aforementioned companies are educational websites set to serve students alone.

Business Model:

WiredLearning is a SaaS platform that serves school districts and townships. Serving Principals, heads of school districts, and educators who teach kindergarten through undergraduate university programs. The educators and school districts pay a subscription in order to gain access to the educational learning aids, games, and analytical reports.

Marketing and Sales:

During the first phase of our sales and marketing, we will be utilizing social media, television advertisements, and partnerships. We have three potential partnerships with EverFi, YCombinator, and WGU Labs Accelerator, all of which prioritize the use of technology in the classroom.

Progress to Date:

The website currently is serving 12 school districts, each containing a varying amount within 20-65 schools within the Unites States. We have made 50.4K from subscriptions alone. Districts are within six states across the midwest, and four throughout the East coast.

Future Milestones:

July 2021: Pre-seed funding-Analytical development, pilot and Beta testing, ESL software development August 2021: Series A funding-Back to school promotional marketing, Launch of ESL software, Marketing phase 1 September 2021: Series B-Hiring of Marketing and Sales positions, completion of Marketing phase 1, Gamma testing
