Inspiration
The following theme of this game tries to follow link. We wanted to incorporate something to do with co-op initially. It is a horde-shooter style game where you and your partner must survive utilizing unique abilities. Game was heavily based off Vampire Survivors in terms of gameplay movement and mechanics.
What it does
2D-style top down view where you can move around using WASD keys. Endless potato enemies spawn in and try to lower your health points starting from 80.

Godot, GDScript, Custom Pixel Art
Challenges we ran into
Lots of version control issues with Git and Godot. Unable to fix dependency issues with file corruption especially with merge conflicts.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Despite our challenges, we overcame them but ultimately couldn't adapt in time. Ended up with a product that feels smooth where the individual components work well despite a lack of features due to time constraint. We were able to animate our own sprite (blinking potato).
What we learned
Assets are time-consuming to find/make. Establishing a robust version control system is vital.
What's next for WIP-Game
Although this is our first time using Godot, it surely won't be the last time. We hope to implement more features regarding making new games with Godot.
