Inspiration
I wanted more than an app that tells me what song is playing. I wanted it to help me find what to play next, keeping the things I loved about the original.
What it does
Wintr listens to a song and finds others that keep what you love about it, using Qloo’s artist and taste connections to guide discovery. Save your finds, open them in Apple Music, and discover upcoming concerts from those artists.
How we built it
I built Wintr using React and TypeScript, with Gemini interpreting live music, Qloo guiding discovery through artist and taste connections, Apple Music providing song links, and Ticketmaster surfacing concerts.
What we learned
Qloo gave the recommendations a direction grounded in actual taste connections. It helped me move beyond asking an AI to guess similar songs and connect discovery to artists I might actually want to follow or see live.
What's next for Wintr
IPO at 1000 a share.
