Inspiration

This project was inspired by my inability to sometimes learn at the pace at which my pears learn and my struggle with applying concepts we have been taught during lectures.

What it does

Wingman converts homework questions to a crash course that will help me understand the topics better and also generates hinted practices questions with list giving a detailed explanation to my original question.

How we built it

Wingman was built using HTML, CSS,Pure JS , PaLM 2 api and over engineered prompt modifiers.

Challenges we ran into

1.Creating a prompt modifier that will convert the users original input into a crash course proves to be a more difficult task than we anticipated. 2.we also had a bit of trouble while converting the generated question to a proper JSON

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to get a fully functional website"Wingman" that has all the features we thought about from the start of the project up and running. We Also managed to create a tool that solves the problem of people like me when it comes to learning.

What we learned

The best future for the education system isn't one in which human tutors gets replaced completely by automated system like Ai but rather one that provides different automated tutor tools to serve as an assistant to the student.

What's next for Wingman

We are looking forward to upgrade the system and add a feature that auto generate video tutorial for the courses. We're also interested in adding a collaborative study mode that will allow user studying the same topics to cross compete and also communicate.
